Despite dealing with the pain left after a serious car crash, 49-year-old Priscilla Hyclak of Mentor knows she has to get moving if she wants to reach her goal of a 60-pound weight loss. She's motivated, though, because the widow's children remind her how much they need their mother.

Changes since starting this....

Where do I begin...
  • I have forged some new friendships of support and caring
  • I continue to gain more confidence in myself and my ability to lose (even though I keep on the roller coaster of up and down)
  • I  have gotten rid of much in my closet because I still am losing in inches
  • I have learned more about how and why to eat and exercise
  • I have been able to continue to learn how to eat healthier
  • I continue to be more aware of my surroundings and what makes me eat
  • I continue to be aware of what my children are eating and what makes them eat to assist in avoiding what I have done
All in all the information and assistance was a big change because before this I was doing it on my own!

Wanted to share this....

Use this perfect parfait for a yummy breakfast or quick-fix dessert!

Yogurt – plain or fat free vanilla Fresh fruit of your choice (bananas, strawberries, blueberries, blackberries etc.) Honey, Stevia or Agave

(optional sweetener) Chopped nuts (optional – walnuts/almonds) Whipped topping – no fat/low fat (optional)

Using approximately 6 ounces of yogurt, layer about 3 ounces (about ½ of a pre-packaged yogurt cup) in the bottom of a bowl or glass.

Cover the yogurt with your fruit(s) of choice and nuts. If using plain yogurt, you may want to drizzle a little honey over the fruit and

nuts. Add the remainder of the yogurt on top of the fruit and nuts. Top with additional fruit. Top with a tablespoon of whipped

topping if desired.

These parfaits can be made in advance, excluding the whipped topping, which should be put on right before serving.

Use clear plastic cups for kids or to-go breakfast cups. Dress up as a dessert by serving in a martini-type glass.

Sounds great doesn't it on this gray day!!!!!!!!!
